UCPH AI

UCPH AI is a new strategic initiative coordinating the University’s AI research, education, and innovation activities, with the ambition to strengthen UCPH’s position as a hub for foundational AI research and the responsible application of AI. As such, the initiative aims both to foster internal collaboration across faculties and administrative units, and to serve as a gateway for external stakeholders — from businesses to research communities and public institutions and policy-makers.

At the heart of UCPH AI is a Steering Committee comprising 12 professors from each of the five faculties and two administrative leaders, who have been appointed for a two-year period based on professional expertise and personal commitment. A Chairperson and Vice Chairperson appointed from the Steering Committee have the overarching responsibility for the initiative.
